Refund policy

Membership and the App at Launch
Gatherings membership is free. The Gatherings app does not sell memberships, subscriptions, or Gathered Tokens in V1 (Vancouver first), and does not process in-app payments. No purchase through Gatherings means no monetary refund from Gatherings for App membership or Tokens.

Tokens
Tokens are in-app participation markers, not money. If you cancel an RSVP more than 24 hours before a Gathering, your Token is typically returned under the app’s rules. Late cancellations may forfeit the Token. These are Token adjustments, not cash refunds.

Costs at Gatherings
If a Gathering involves a separate cost (food, tickets, venue charges, etc.), payment is between you and the venue, host, or provider—not through Gatherings. Refunds for those charges are handled by whoever took payment, not by Gatherings.

Future paid features
If Gatherings later offers paid products or subscriptions on the Site or in the App, those offers will include applicable pricing and refund terms at the time of purchase.
