Who can join?
Gatherings is a 19+ community.
Every member:
- Confirms their age
- Accepts the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Social Charter
- Creates a basic profile
This helps create a shared baseline of respect and safety.
How do Gatherings (events) work?
Gatherings are small, in-person experiences created by approved Hosts.
They can be simple and social — like a walk, a coffee meetup, or a casual group activity.
Each one is shaped by the Host and the people who show up.
How do I join a Gathering?
In this early version:
- You may see available Gatherings in the app
- Experiences are still limited as the community grows
The goal is quality over volume — building something that feels good, not overwhelming.
Are there many events right now?
Not yet — and that’s intentional.
We’re starting small in Vancouver, working closely with early Hosts and members to build something meaningful.

Do I need to pay to join?
No – membership is free.
There are:
- No subscription fees
- No in-app purchases in this version
If an activity has a cost (like food or tickets), that’s handled directly at the venue.
What are tokens?
You may see tokens in the app.
In this version:
- They are informational only
- They are not purchased
- They don’t affect access to core features
We’re exploring how to support reliable attendance in future versions.
Can I message other members?
No — messaging isn’t part of this version.

What are Hosts?

- Hosting is limited
- Hosts are manually approved

Can I become a Host?
Host access is currently limited while we build the foundation.
