Gatherings brings adults together through small, real-world activities.
It’s for people who want more people to do things with — without swiping, cold messaging strangers, or joining huge anonymous events.
It’s there when you might want company for a gallery tour, a new restaurant, live music, a workshop, a walk, trivia, a friendly chat, or simply something you already enjoy. Gatherings creates more reasons to get out, do something interesting, and meet people along the way.

You won’t write a long personal profile or answer intrusive questions.
Instead, you set practical preferences using simple yes/no and selectable options.
That can include interests, availability, how far you’re willing to travel, first and second languages, accessibility needs, food preferences and allergies, social environment, pet-friendly preferences, and where you’re starting from — such as home, work or another location.
Those choices shape the kinds of Gatherings you may be invited to.

Hosts Curate the Gathering
Approved Hosts create and organize Gatherings. After they review relevant preference information and aggregate member data to understand what people are interested in, when they are available and what practical considerations matter.
Hosts & Venue Operators then choose the activity, location, timing and align everything else to member preferences. Cost are identified in the invitation details. Hosts may collect a fee. That’s on the invitation too. Venues give costs too! These charges are collected directly at the Gathering – NOT within the app.
No automated profiling. No algorithm deciding what you should do.
Gatherings is launching city by city, beginning with Vancouver.
The vision is to build enough Members, approved Hosts, participating venues and scheduled Gatherings for the App to be genuinely useful before expanding further.
